Australia Country Guide

I was wondering how long does it take normal mail from Australia to get to Singapore?

Im attending a convocation in Lismore, Australia. Could somebody help me with the culture of Australia? How would a male guest dress for a convocation? Thanks! =) Is a long sleeve shirt and pants good enough? Or should i include a tie and coat? you guys are really helpful, Thanks! =) im attending a convocation, its a graduation ceremony in a university compound. i guess it would be in a auditorium or hall.

I'm not from Australia. Intend to bring a class of students for an overseas learning journey and like to let the 10-12 years old kids learn about environmental issues and about protecting the animals. Any reccommendation? If the kids can do some voluntary work, join a workshop etc, this will be even better.
