I'm from the Philippines and will be studying in England. As I've researched, London has a high cost of living. So I am wondering which area in England has a low cost of living and how much is the cheapest flat/room rate per month? Your answer would really be a big help. Thank you!
I'm interested in visiting a spot on a lake or river somewhere in New England or thereabouts. I'm picturing a cabin that can be rented for a week or so, preferably with acess to a boat and swimming. Nothing outrageously expensive, please. And if mosquitoes or flies or heat are a problem, please let me know (specifically--like what is the heat and humidity range--I live in Louisiana and what is hot to you may not be hot to me.) Many thanks for your suggestions!
